So Its not just Hagger who has to take the gang on, he does have some  tough friends like Guy who is  returning to Metro City from his badass kick arse  training.

Join the Hagger and Guy are  Lucia, a detective in the Metro City unit and Dean, a street fighter who is seeking revenge for the death of his family.

So how does this game compare to the privous 2? well it is a great improvment over all in every department, its just a shame that not many people played this as it did come out towards the end of the SNES life span.

But for a start you have 4 playable characters to chose from, this is game is a 2 player game and that is the best way to kick arse, the graphics are even better than privious games and have more imagaination behind them in my opinion than the 1st 2 games.

Playablity wise this game is a vast improvemnas you have  loads of moves are you disposle you even have street fighter 2 type moves than you can do to.

but for me what make this game really stand out is the amazing music, it is simply superb and really needs to be heard(i’m hoping when Otouto72 returns to youtube this is one of the games he will do)

but all in all this is a great game of a fantastic series, like a said before its just a shame that not many people played at the time, but the good thing is that this game is now avialable on the Nintendo Wii on the Virtual console, so give it a go.

The background tune is the title music for the Nintendo Game Boy version of Robocop composed by Jonathan Dunn.

The story goes, Ariston heard the tune and felt it was perfect for their advert and their “And on, And on and Ariston” slogan, so they contacted Ocean Software over a licence which was granted. But the downside to this is that for an advert which ran for two years across mainland Europe on terrestial and satelite television, Jonathan Dunn did not recieve a single penny in royalties. The use of his music in the advert was worth around £100,000!

Back in 2005, Jonathan commented on the Ocean Experience forums -

“Yeh, all those royalties would of been great…

Ran for 2 years accross europe on terrestial and satelite. My MU officer said that would of worked out at about £100K…

Everytime I heard it I cringed and switched the channel”

Can’t say I blame him to be honest. I would have thrown my TV out the window!

ZX SPECTRUM

A long time ago before Red Dead Redemption there was Kane.
Now Kane was the ultimate cowboy game back in the days when i was lad, Kane who is the sheriff.
This game has 4 different sections
The first level sees our her shooting birds
the 2nd level see our hero on his trusty steed and you have to jump over obstacles
the 3rd level(which happens to be my favorite sees our hero in the main town ambushed by baddies and you have to take them out by putting a bullet in between there eyes.
and the 4th and final level sees you once again on your horse trying to reach the front of the moving train while still trying to jump over rocks and bushes.

AMSTRAD

Now this game may not look like much now but back in the days this was one of the finest cowboy games i had played, the reason why i loved it so much was because of the variety between the 4 levels, even though it was pretty easy(well back then it was I’m crap at playing it now) and the game looped and started from the beginning.

The first time i played this was on my cousins amstrad and from the moment i played i was hooked, maybe because young loco back in the 80′s wanted to be a cowboy lol

Bruce Lee on the 8bit computers is still my fave Bruce Lee game ever, no other Bruce Lee game has been this good.

Back in the mid 80′s this was a game that caught my eyes, not only because it had Bruce Lee name on the game but because it was really good game.

The story was that you had collect all these lanterns that would open up door so you could finally get to the wizard that you had to destroy.
But the game it self was so playable it was a mixture of platforming with a bit of kung fu and surprisingly enough it worked, you had loads of obstacles to avoid and ladder to climb and gaps to jump over and this was made harder for the fact that you had 2 baddie constantly after you a Green Sumo called the Green yamo and a ninja that i called Nigel(don’t know why but it sounded good when i was 9)
But the thing that made this game excell was that you could play 2player at the same

time, so how did this work?
well the 2nd player took on the role of the the green yamo(well green on the amstrad and c64 verison) and you could team up with bruce lee and help hi out by beating the crap out of Nigel the Ninja, or you could try and stop Bruce Lee or the best thing was what i used to do play as friend and at the last moment turn on your friend lol.

So for those of you reading this and don’t know who Joe Blade is…shame on you!

Joe Blade was a game that came out in the late 1980′s and it was a game that got me hooked from the moment i saw this cassette inlay, Joe Blade was a muscle bound macho type character and that alone sold e on the idea in getting this game.

So what what was the story behind the game, well if memory serves me right its to do with  The world governments having a spot of bother with a gang of insane terrorists, who are holding a group of world leaders world leaders hostage.

So its up to our muscle bound hero to make his way through the game shooting the living crap out of the baddies saving the hostages and defusing a few bombs along the way.

This game was a good game for the fact that it worked on every level a game should do, it had playability had decent graphics and really good music in the title screen by Gary Biasillo.

So how did the 3 home computers match up for this game?

The film will be a done in 8 parts for everyone to view, if you are familier with the Dead Rising game you are gonna love this, I know i sure am.

The story sees two brothers on the run from a zombie outbreak in Japan, and from there on you can expect lots of undead or infected carnage.

This is a great way from Capcom to get everyone excited again about the new franchise, with also the sequel to Dead rising coming out soon and also the prequel to that will be out even sooner, Capcom are certainly spoiling us with there Dead Rising franchise.
